The Farm

Man, what a day. Me, Susan, Brad, Allison, Katie and Ben all went down to the farm to get out and enjoy the beautiful day and for me to install some hand rails for Nonnie and Granddaddy. Man, that was a job but well worth the sore knees and skint knuckles. The back steps were really tough, having to drill through mortar and concrete. I managed to get them up with the help of Brad and Ben. It might not look the best in the world but it gets the job done. Now I don't have to worry about either of my in laws falling down the steps.

It was alot of fun just to be out and be down at the farm. After we got finished, Ben and Katie left and Allison had to leave to go sing. Brad stayed with me and helped me put up the rail in the carport and after we got finished with that, Me, Brad, Susan and Granddaddy got in our trucks and went up in the woods and got a load of dry wood for the fire. We had a blast just getting at and walking around the woods get the wood. After we left the farm, Brad and I unloaded the truck and we built us a huge fire. I figured that we would burn all the wood because it was so dry and we almost did. To bad that it burned so fast. But the fire was so good and warm and so relaxing.

Well, that was about it for Sunday. Hope you have a great week.
