Man, what a weekend.....I took off Friday and finished cleaning out our carport. I had my truck parked in there on Friday night and then on saturday, my newest son in law and I went to pick up some furniture that another friend of mine had been storing for me for 2 years. It was from our house at the river. Man, was that fun. We packed down the trailer and off we went.....I think we stoped several times to check on things and make sure nothing had shifted. We made it home and then had to unload it all. Thanks to Brad, we got it all done in no time. We had to be finished because Brad and Allison had to work on a rental house before the game. I finished getting everything covered up and now you know it, I can't park in the garage once again. Maybe soon I'll be able to do some stuff with all that crap and be able to park in there before the cold weather sets in for the winter. Brad and Allsion came back over to watch the game. April and her family were to also have come over but Reece got sick so they were unable to come over. We had a great time watching the game. Brad and I stayed in the den and watched the game while Allison and her mom, piled up in the bed to watch it. It was funny because the tv in the bedroom is about 5 seconds ahead of the tv in the den so we would always know that something great was about to happen because Allison and Susan would scream. We had a blast and can't wait till the next ball game when we can all get together and pull for the Crimson Tide. Katie had her choral concert today and it was great. There are alot of talented kids in that program. I went to work on the pool after I got home and noticed that an oak tree next to our pool had sap running down one side. So, I had to get out my "DREMIL" and do surgery on this tree. I came in and asked Katie and Ben to please run to Lowes for me to get some prunning seal for cuts and scrapes for trees. So they run and get it and bring it home. I've been steadly working on this surgery and got it all cleaned out and got the spray. I picked up the first brand new can and went to spray and it would spray so I thought what the heck, I've got another can. Yep, you guessed it, it wouldn't spray either. I took the spary nozzle off and ran and straight pin through both ends, soaked them in hot water etc and tried it again. Nothing would work. So, I get in my truck and head back to Lowes at 6:30, they close at 7 on Sunday. I went in, took the cans back and went to get some more...I walked all around Lowes trying to find it, asked two sales associates and none of us could find it. I ended up getting a bucket of something close to the same thing and I had to make it work. So, I ended up putting on gloves and putting it on the tree by hand. It was not what I wanted but it worked. I guess I'll have to put more on it tomorrow night while my wife is playing "Bunko" in her Dorothy Outfit...man is that thing sexy...Guess I need to be ToTo.....(bark bark). So anyway, I finished the surgery and I think the patient will be fine. It will take time to see if the patient heals. I worked on the darn pool for several hours after that and came in to catch the last part of D/Housewives. I'm really confused.... It was a weird show.... Can't wait till next sunday to watch it and see what happens.
