Ok Girls, I didn't have internet access at the beach so it took me until tonight to read my comments on my blog (thank you) and here are some pictures that I said that I was going to put on last week, I think Sunday. Give me alittle break, remember I'm getting old...ha ha ha...
Anyway, we had a great time. The only time I got in the sand was when I help an elderly man with some crabs that he had caught. He wanted to let them go and had alot of trouble walking so I went down to help him. When I got down to the beach, I asked him if he needed help and he didn't respond. I asked him again and he put his voice box to his throat to be able to talk. He told me that he felt sorry for the little things and didn't want them to die. I told him that I would help him so I did and got all 14 back in the water. They all lived, I think. So this is the only time that I touched the sand and water the entire time we were at the beach. Susan didn't even walk in the sand at all. We ate like we were starving the entire week and we both got alot of rest. I don't think I've ever slept so much. We made it home fine but after we got home, we both realized that we had driven through the major part of "FAYE". Needless to say, it was along drive home and the wind was so bad that my knuckles were white where I was having to grip the steering wheel so hard just to keep the truck in the road.
